Mi Tech Solutions
About the studio

One person.
Every detail.

Mi Tech Solutions Australia is a solo studio. No agency overhead, no offshore handover, no account manager filtering your messages. You email me, I reply. You ask for changes, I make them. If something breaks at 9pm, I'm the one fixing it.

The story

Why this studio exists.

The tech-services market for Australian small businesses is broken. A local tradie quoted $8,000 for a website that should have cost $1,500. A motel paid an overseas agency $4,000 for a site that disappeared after launch. A clinic was told their AI chatbot would cost $30,000 — for what's actually a weekend project with the right tools.

On the other end, the cheap option means Fiverr templates, missed deadlines, and zero accountability. Owners get burned, then assume "good tech" must mean expensive. So they keep paper-based booking systems, manual invoicing, and websites that look like 2014.

Mi Tech Solutions Australia exists in the gap. Real local accountability. Honest pricing — published, not "request a quote". Every project built by one person who actually shows up.

I built the studio after watching too many small businesses get either underserved or overcharged. The first version was just me, building websites for friends' businesses on weekends. The current version is the same — except now it's registered with ASIC, has an ABN, takes paid clients, and offers a full stack from web to AI to automations.

Same person. Same pricing transparency. Same promise: you'll always know who's working on your project, what it costs, and when it ships.

The promise
"You'll always know who's working on your project, what it costs, and when it ships. That's it. That's the whole pitch."

What we believe

Five things this studio won't do.

Every studio has a list of values. Most of them are platitudes. Here's the actual short list — five things this studio won't do, no matter what.

No.

"Request a quote" mystery boxes

Every service has a published starting price. If you can't afford the floor, you can't afford the project — and that's fine. Better to know up-front than after a 30-minute sales call.

No.

"Rank #1 in 30 days" SEO promises

Anyone making this promise is lying or doesn't understand SEO. We do honest, structural SEO work that compounds over months — not stunts that get penalised by Google.

No.

Disappearing after launch

30 days of post-launch support is included on every project. After that, optional care plans from $99/month. You're never abandoned with broken software.

No.

Marking up third-party services

Domain fees, hosting, AI API costs, plugin licences — passed through at cost, billed separately. No 3x markup hidden in the project price.

No.

Accepting projects we can't deliver

Some work is outside the studio's scope. When that happens, we'll tell you and refer you to someone better-fit. The deal isn't worth doing badly.

Yes.

Replying to emails like a person

24-hour reply window on weekdays. No autoresponders, no ticket numbers, no "your message is important to us". You email a person, a person emails you back.

How a project actually runs

From first email to go-live.

No mystery, no "we'll get back to you". Here's the real timeline of working with Mi Tech Solutions Australia, end to end.

Day 0 / Free discovery

30-minute call

You email or book. We have a 30-minute call (Google Meet or phone) about your business, what's not working, and what you're hoping to achieve. No pitch, no contract pressure. You leave with a clear recommendation — even if it's "you don't actually need this yet."

Days 1–2 / Written quote

Fixed proposal

You get a written proposal: scope, deliverables, fixed price, timeline, what's included, what's not. No "starting from" surprises later. You have as long as you need to decide. No follow-up nagging.

Day 1 of project / Kickoff

50% deposit, kickoff

50% deposit confirms the booking. Kickoff call to gather brand assets, content, access credentials. You get a shared project folder and a single point of contact (me).

Weeks 1–4 / Build

Build & weekly updates

I build. You see progress every Friday — not at "the big reveal" 6 weeks in. Revisions happen in defined rounds (specified in the proposal). Most websites ship in 2–4 weeks. AI projects 3–6 weeks.

Launch week / Go-live

Launch & training

Site goes live, AI deployed, automations switched on. You get a 30-minute training session and written documentation. Final 50% invoice issued. Everything handed over: hosting, repos, credentials.

Days 1–30 post-launch / Support

Free support window

Anything that breaks, doesn't work as expected, or needs a small tweak — fixed free for 30 days. After that, optional care plans from $99/month, or you self-manage. No vendor lock-in.

The toolkit

Built on tools that won't disappear.

No bespoke frameworks you can't maintain. Everything we build sits on tools you can take elsewhere if needed.
